Brunei Darussalam women’s kata team secured a bronze medal in the 19th Asian Games 2022 at the Linping Sports Centre Gymnasium in Hangzhou, China yesterday.
The national trio comprising Farhah Syahirah binti Mohd Shamrin, Rodhyatul Adhwanna binti Bakar and Farhana Najeeha binti Abdul Rahman combined to score a total of 38.2 points.
Malaysia comprising Naccy Nelly Evvaf, Niathalia Sherawi and Lovelly Anne qualified to the next round after they posted 38.8 points.
Vietnam took gold while Malaysia settled for silver and Cambodia taking the other bronze. – Fadhil Yunus
