NATIONAL Pencak Silat Federation Negara Brunei Darussalam (PERSIB) has announced that five national athletes will be participating in the 17th World Pencak Silat Championship 2016 which will be held at GOR Lila Bhuana in Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia, starting today until December 9.
The national athletes are Md Syahiiruddin bin Haji Shahirulali who will be competing in Class ‘B’, Zainorarif bin Zaini in Class ‘C’, Abdul Rahim bin Sofian in Class ‘D’, Muhd Imanuddin bin Haji Ahmad in the male individual and Norleyermah binti Haji Raya as the sole female representative in the female individual.
The eight-strong member delegation will be led by team manager Haji Jaya Edris and also included Pg. Tajuddin bin Haji Md Salleh as the seni coach and Muhammad Asyhary as the tanding coach.
