The National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) yesterday confirmed Indonesia's last-minute entry for next month's fifth Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy (HBT).

The draw for the Under-21 tournament was held on July 12, with Brunei - as hosts - given the option of choosing which group to be drawn in. The reigning champions chose to be grouped alongside Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam in Group B while Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Timor Leste and two-time champions Thailand will be pooled in Group A.

However, the inclusion of Indonesia, the finalist of the last edition of the tournament, will affect the fixture list for the August 9-23 regional meet. A new draw to accommodate Indonesia will be held at the NFABD House along Jalan Persidangan in Berakas today.

Brunei beat Indonesia 2-0 to win the last edition thanks to goals by Adi Said and Md Aminuddin Zakwan Tahir. Indonesia won the tournament's inaugural edition in 2002.
