DPMM FC in Group D of Singapore League Cup

DPMM FC have been drawn into Group D of the Singapore League Cup.

The two-time champions will face Hougang United FC and defending champions Balestier Khalsa FC.

The Young Lions (Singapore national under-23 football team) and Harimau Muda II (Malaysia national under-21 football team) will not be participating in the competition.

The duo of Police Sports Association and Singapore Recreation Club will fill in the void of the 12-team tournament.

Group A are made up of Albirex Niigata (S) FC, Tanjong Pagar United FC and Police Sports Association.

Home United FC, Woodlands Wellington FC and Singapore Sports Recreation make up Group B.

Tampines Rovers, Warriors FC and Geylang International FC complete Group C.

DPMM FC finished runners-up last year after losing 4-0 to Balestier in the final at the Jalan Besar Stadium.
