Setia Perdana in comeback win over Rimba Star
Thursday, March 6, 2014

A brace from Sulaiman Yaakub helped Setia Perdana on their way to a 4-1 comeback win over Rimba Star in last night's DST Premier League action.

Though Rimba Star took a 11th minute lead through Muhd Khalil Hj Ahmad Kamil, three goals in the space of 10 second half minutes would turn the game Setia Perdana's way at the Balapan Track & Field at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.

Sulaiman's strike a minute before the break leveled the scores as the teams entered the dressing room, with Md Faisal Ali putting Setia Perdana ahead three minutes after the restart.

Sulaiman would make it 3-1 in the 53rd minute and Ahmad Karim hit the back of the net five minutes later to seal the win.

The DST Premier League continues on Sunday with Lun Bawang taking on Perkasa and Brunei Shell Recreation Club facing Kota Rangers.

Saturday's DST Super League action will see defending champions Indera Sports Club meet Kilanas FC at the Balapan Track & Field and Jerudong FC do battle with the Royal Brunei Police Force Sports Council (MS PDB) at the Berakas Sports Complex.

Both the DST Super League games are set for 8:15pm.
