Silat delivers silver and bronze in Hanoi

The silat team have delivered two silver and eight bronze medals so far for Brunei at the 5th ASEAN School Games in Vietnam.

Muhammad Amri Muhammad Muslim won the first silver in the tanding event in Class F (54-57 kilogramme) after losing 4-1 to Vietnam's Nguyen Minh Nam in the final.

The duo of Muhammad Amirul Azri Hj Ali Amzah and Budriz Zaini won the other silver in the men's seni ganda event.

Five of the bronze medals were from seni events while the other three were from tanding events.

The Sultanate have a 79-member contingent comprising of 51 athletes from secondary schools at the Games. They are contesting in six sports athletics, badminton, table tennis, sepak takraw and swimming being the others in Hanoi.
