The Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council (BNOC) team defeated Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (KKBS) 1-0 in Group A of the VIP category to advance to the semi-final of the Charity Futsal Tournament for Kg Setia 'A' Fire Victims Fund last night.

Col (A) Pg Hj Kamal Bashah Pg Hj Ahmad scored the only goal for BNOC at the Indoor Stadium of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.

His Royal Highness Prince Hj Sufri Bolkiah, the President of the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD), started for BNOC in the win.

The other game in group A saw YAM Pg Muda 'Abdul 'Aleem's White Lion were held to a goalless draw by NFABD team.

Meanwhile, in group B the Ministry of Home Affairs (KHEDN) defeated PPKK 1-0 and Banks of Brunei lost 4-3 to Brunei-Muara District Department (JDBM).

The tournament continues today with BNOC going up against JDBM, while White Lions will play KHEDN in the final of the VIP category.

Kota Junior will meet Takat 'C' in the semi-final of the open category. The other semi-final match pit Takat 'A' against KHEDN 2013.
