The National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) yesterday announced it will be extending the submission date for its ongoing slogan writing competition.

The initial duration of the competition that started on August 1 was planned to conclude on August 22, but has been extended until September 15, according to a press statement issued by the NFABD yesterday.

Entry forms can be obtained from the main office of the NFABD, located at the NFABD House along Jalan Pusat Persidangan, opposite the International Convention Centre in Berakas.

It is open to all citizens and permanent resident of Brunei. The closing date for the submission of the forms will be on 15 September 2011 before 4.00pm.

The NFABD the country's governing body for football has His Royal Highness Prince Hj Sufri Bolkiah as its Hononary President and the Prince was instrumental in getting Brunei back into international football.

The newly-formed governing body for the sport in the Sultanate, His Royal Highness said last month that NFABD was relishing Brunei's return to the international scene after the former association, the Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (Bafa), was suspended by Fifa in 2009.
