Crown Prince to represent Sultanate at Asian Games

His Royal Highness Prince Hj Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, will represent Brunei Darussalam in the eight-ball singles and nine-ball singles events at the 16th Asian Games in Guangzhou, China, from November 12-27.

This was announced by HRH Prince Hj Sufri Bolkiah, the President of the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council (BNOC), during the flag-handing ceremony yesterday.

HRH handed over the Brunei flag to the chef de mission of the national contingent, Hj Muhd Zamri Dato Paduka Hj Hamdani.

HRH confirmed that nine athletes, including the Crown Prince, will be representing the Sultanate at the Asian Games in Guangzhou.

The Crown Prince has represented the Sultanate in the cue sports at various international events, including the SEA Games in Laos in 2009
